This is my first review on a game. i have had this game for a long time and have played multiplayer. the thing about past ac games is combat didn't "flow" as well as it could have. the new flow in ac3 is like im a graceful killer. or u could go non-lethaal with ur fists and poison darts. the parkour system is nice, controls different but not too different. the storyline is amazing with nice characters but the multiplayer is kind of a letdown. its always a kill-based hide and seek. besides that, ac3 is pretty good.
Pros - The scenery is nice, so if you enjoy just exploring or hunting this game is for you. Some of the fight animations are decent, and the characters are alright.
The only decent tutorial is when you learn how to sail, but that's the only time you will be on a ship for the next 3 hours unless you choose to fast travel with boat.
Cons - This game takes forever just to get somewhat interesting. I'm giving up in sequence 7. It's basically tutorials for the for 2-3 hours of the game or so, and just when you think it's going to pick up you end up following around an old man with a cane.
All of the quests are miles apart, and generally you're not told where you need to go for you next one. So you just fast travel from location to location until the mission shows up.
Climbing isn't really that important anymore, you basically just follow paths to get where you need to go.
Occasionally a horse will show up that you can run with for about 10 seconds and have to wait for his stamina to recharge. I assume they added this pointless feature to add to the the rest of the pace of the game.
This horse also can't jump off foot high rocks, but can clear fences with ease.
