Pretty Good

I don't find myself playing stealth game very often, I'm more of a shooter fan. But, this game was a pretty cool departure from what I normally play. The stealth isn't so hard to maintain that its boring and frustrating. I really think being able to take part in historical events was interesting, and the assassin moves are pretty awesome (I should mention that this is the first AC game I've played). I also liked the period correct elements, like the black powder guns and the naval battles on sailing ships-- definitely different. Its long but not REALLY long if you just do the main mission. The story isn't really captivating enough to make me want to do all of the challenges, and the challenges don't really help you in the main mission-- they don't give you skill points/XP or anything.
What I didn't like about this game is that the graphics are pretty bad for a game this new. Some older games like Red Dead Redemption blow it out of the water. The horses are rendered VERY badly and get stuck on everything. The bushes and scenery look very flat. Main character half-disappears into scenery, killed animals float above the ground...etc.
Overall, its pretty fun. Not quite as epic as what the fanbase suggests, but definitely pretty fun. Also a good stealth game for a shooter fan to play.
