What failed in the first installment has been fixed and better than ever in the second. This game did lock up twice on me, and I found a couple code glitches, but the story line was fantastic, the playable was amazing (even though Ezio gets confused while climbing cometimes) and the length of the game was fantastic. It was not nearly as short as AC1. The puzzles are tricky but interesting and it makes you really want more at the end. This game is really just a set up for AC3 when you become the ultimate assassin and go after the real world templars.
Though it has its technical flaws, this game was so compelling, it deserves a 10. If they fix the glitches, some of the annoying occurences, and the small playability issues, AC3 will be an 11.

Grafics gameplay and story are great however with the addition of the swiming ability comes a silly bug. Getting out of the water onto a boat or even a ledge can be annoying to say the least. Poor guy looks like hes drowning until you move over that ever so little bit and then hes is just fine funny thing is it happens all over the boat at one time or another. As for the Ai enimes are well rounded and vary well between the different guards you will be fighting sad to say the AI that you have to deal with to help you with your quests is more then mildy retarted. And the beat up quests are repetitve always beating up the cheating husband. Other then these little things the game is still a great game worth the money because of the time it takes to complete and a wide variety of things to do.
Assassin's Creed 2 has much improved from the first AC. I loved the first game and the second blew me away just like the first. Graphics are top notch, voice overs, terrain, music, ect. all great. If you enjoyed the first you will love the second; if you didn't like the first game... don't get it or write bad reviews about a game that you knew you wouldn't enjoy from the get go.
