The title says it all. The gameplay is incredible, you have a much larger arsenal of weapons such as the poison blade and hidden gun. the enviroments are just as you would expect. you can choose which city you want to kill in. a new improvement is that you can buy armor, dye your clothes, and buy new weapons. you also on your very own city which you can re-model. it starts out run-down but after you fully complete it, it looks beautiful.
However the game does have its fair share of flaws. the game for me constantly freezes and makes me want to kill myself. the game's ending also went where it never should have. if you beat the game you'll see what I mean.
overall I think its a great game for people who like their fair share if blood. not a perfect game but it is great.
I am a huge Assassin's Creed fan and was grateful to have received my copy when it was released. Since finishing the first one last year, I was wondering where the storyline was going. I was amazed out how they pulled together the characters and combined it for the story, and now I can't wait to see how it proceeds with the next installment! Anyone who likes action games this is definitely a must-have, because you will never get tired. I think the only reason I didn't give it a 10 was because I don't want to wait another year for the AC III; but if it is better (and probably will be) than the II then I can hold off.
The graphics and endless landscapes are a great addition and builds tremendously off the first one. Be prepared to experience a ten-fold better array of weapons and fighting scenarios, because they were my biggest +'s!! Also, the storyline will make you amazed out how they will build on this franchise name. It is a long game but very well worth it, have fun & enjoy!
What failed in the first installment has been fixed and better than ever in the second. This game did lock up twice on me, and I found a couple code glitches, but the story line was fantastic, the playable was amazing (even though Ezio gets confused while climbing cometimes) and the length of the game was fantastic. It was not nearly as short as AC1. The puzzles are tricky but interesting and it makes you really want more at the end. This game is really just a set up for AC3 when you become the ultimate assassin and go after the real world templars.
Though it has its technical flaws, this game was so compelling, it deserves a 10. If they fix the glitches, some of the annoying occurences, and the small playability issues, AC3 will be an 11.
