Assassin's Creed Brotherhood was a great game. That said, I feel that I have to be a bit brutally honest. This wasn't a true sequel in the assassin's creed universe, it felt more like everything that the team didn't have time to include in Assassin's Creed 2. As much as I enjoyed the game, I can't help but notice that some of the issues were not addressed, such as Ezio occasionally not going where I want him to in free running or jumping wrong directions off of walls or a terrible fixed camera angle here or there. But don't let these little annoyances keep you from playing this, they're usually few and far between. With a couple extra gadgets, you'll waste plenty of time tearing up the streets of Rome, which by the way, is an enormous territory, yet the only one you'll have free roam access to.
And then there's multi-player. It is unique to say the least. It's more of a cat and mouse game than your standard team deathmatch. There are 3 main game types, which is varying team size (or free-for-all) of the same type of play. You get a target, which you try to kill (stealthily hopefully), while avoiding whoever is targeting you, who you won't know until it's too late. These games can be equally addicting as it can be frustrating. As you rank up you earn abilities which you can equip 2 at a time, such hidden gun or smoke bomb. But some of the higher ranked abilities make playing well harder if you're lower ranked. Also, be prepared to wait on a loading screen for a while, waiting for the game lobby to fill up.
So, yes, this game does have it's issues but, what game doesn't? Don't let a couple little flaws keep you from enjoying this game. I give it an 8 out of 10.
What more could you ask for in a game? You are, Assassino, Ezio Auditore da Firenze! Off to face the Templars however you choose. The game is set in Roma, Italy and every single detail blew my mind. You see old friends and family around and the missions are very satisfying. The graphics are semi- better than the last, still feel like there were too much copy/paste aspect but other than that, That's the only flaw I could think of. Game play takes about 20 hours or less to beat and get all achievements. It took me about 2 days total because I fell in LOVE. I wish it would have lasted longer because this is by far the best game. And for the Brotherhood, it will never get old to see the guards go face first into the ground. They come from all angles, and you don't know what will happen next. The only feeling you will experience is satisfaction and you can't help but grin each time. Multi-player allows you to do SO much more. Don't really want to spoil anything, but the thrill you get, it is mind-blowing! If you're sitting at your computer trying to decide whether or not to go out and get this amazing game, STOP AND PLAY IT. It's utterly fascinating, I don't think anything could top this on my list! It will never get old. You have so many choices to make and you will become eager to continue on to re-build Roma, step by step, hour by hour.
Once again Ubisoft outdoes itself. The Assassins Creed franchise is now the best in gaming. The storyline is excellent. The Graphics are 2nd to none. Easily the best game of the year. Cant wait for the next one. This would make a great movie. Only problem i had is that the storymode wasnt as long as Assassins Creed 2.
