This game takes place right after AC2, which is really nice since I wanted to know what happened to Ezio. At first I was concern why this game did not have a number and just a name for its title, but I see why. Brotherhood and Revelations expands the story of Ezio and on brotherhood it's really nice.
When it comes to gameplay, it hasn't changed much. But those little changes made it really cool. First example would be how you can ride horses in the cities now, pretty neat. The other is how combat works. You can now combo your kills! So do a cool kill (Holding R + disarm/counter) and highlight another enemy while killing the one you have and it will automatically kill the other guy. you can keep going for as long as there are enemies! Not only that, but you can use sub-weapons while using main ones! I'll let ya'll see for youself-- just note it is very cool! In conclusion, gameplay is the same, but is has improved.
Tasks. If you thought AC2 didn't have enough side-story tasks, this game has tons more! This ranges from assassination contracts to newly added shop quests! There's just too much to do now! If you're planning on doing everything, for fun, I recommend you buy this game instead of renting it.
Story. For some reason the story did not impact me as much as it did in AC2. Nevertheless, it is great and it's really the reason to play this game in the first place. The ending is pretty crazy, so I encourage you to play till the end.
Multiplayer. I didnt touch this. I'm really only playing the Assassin's Creed series for their single player experience.
In conclusion, if you played the last game, just play this one. You must play it! If you're barely going to play AC, I strongly suggest you go back to the original one. It's a great series.
