Everything was improved in this version. Combat is streamlined and made easier but this in fact is easily overlooked as it makes you feel like the real master killer you should be.
Platforming controls are better along with countless improvements and RPG elements added that make parts of this game much more interesting. Thing such as "view points" and other annoying features have been greatly improved and finally been made bearable. Multiplayer also is a lovely addition, while I not for me personally. All in all this game is much improved on basically every level and graphics have been improved as well.
The one reason this game fails in comparison to AC2, the story. This game fails to deliver a meaningful or high impact story of the last game. The ending left a cliffhanger feeling, much like AC2, except this was built up rather poorly and left much to be desired. Not to mention none of it was overly exciting to see.
Bottom line, this is a solid game. Certainly worth a rent if you want to play the story and may actually be worth a buy if your that in to the multiplayer. Sadly, the story just doesn't do it for me.
Hopefully AC3 will bring the story of the game back to the light.
This was a great game but it was just to short for me. Found quiet a few glitches with the PS3 version as well. Would definitely recommend this game to someone who likes Assassins Creed but this one was a let down with how long it was.
