Armored Core reaches it's eighth chapter with Armored Core: Nexus. This time out, fans can engage in four-player mech combat online. Disc One, titled "Evolution," features all-new missions and storylines. Disc Two, titled "Revolution," revamps old missions from the popular series for next gen enthusiasts. The Organization of Controlling Corporations has helped humanity reclaim Earth's surface, but perceiving that is becoming obsolete, the OCC makes a bid for world domination. An epic war begins! Nexus also features more open-ended gameplay, massive 3D environments, improved graphics, and customizable mechs.

Being an avid fan of the Armored Core series, I was excited about a two disc game loaded with unlockable parts and varying game play. While they expanded on the missions on the Evolution disc, they cut back greatly on the arena aspect of Armored Core. In previous Armored Core games you could enter...more
