Are you smarter than a 5th grader? for Nintendo DS Reviews by Gamers

If you like the show, the game is pretty good. It plays just like the game (except for the suspence of knowing if the answer is right or not). I played it with my 7th grader and we could never get past the 3rd question. They were surprisingly hard questions. I only gave it a 7 because we became frustrated by the fact we could not get very far in the game. Even the 5th graders in the game couldn't answer them right. Now that is SAD! I will probably be returning this very quickly.

The game comes as advertised so don't expect a whole lot from it. It's a basic/simple game without much flair. Don't expect a super slick presentation or lots of flash. The game is right on the mark for the style of game that it is. This title is serviceable and is fun if you enjoy the show. I gave it a 6 because it's better than most of the game show style games I've played in the past, but it still left me wanting more. If you like the show, you'll get a kick out of the game. If you don't like the show, don't bother.
