And that isn't slighting this game in the slightest, this is a good game. I played this game while in between some of the major releases recently and I was surprised by how well this game was planned out.

Battle is simple enough, you fight battles and earn experience and points that you can use to unlock greater skills. You use those skills with Spirit Stones which you can buy from shops, etc. Instead of getting greater weapons and armor, you add on extra items to your weapons and armor to improve your stats.

Basics of the story are good, the voice acting is solid if not a little stale for some characters, but it is quite engaging. Characters are easy to get attached to and the twists and turns are worth the time level grinding.

All in all, this game stands up to the test of time pretty well. If you are a hardcore Arc the Lad fan, this is up your alley but even if you are not, this is a very entertaining game to play! You would do yourself a favor to rent this and give it a try!
