I like animal crossing. Since it came out ive been playing it. the thing that i dont' like is the rotation of the screen. Whenever ure going around to a new location (walking,Running) the screen goes in a circular and is circular. This could have been better. The game still features fishing and mueseums and wfc and all. But other than the circularness i reccommend this game for anyone with an open mind even hardcore gamers just to relax(im a hardcore gamer(and in that i mean i like shooters the best) the game is also very addicing longest playing was 7 hours straight. Good game

Lets see, where to begin? Animal crossing: City Folk is in my opinion, THE best game for Wii yet! What's so great about this game you ask? Well, it's like living a little virtual life in a town inhabited by friendly talking animals. Who doesn't like cute, friendly talking animals?! The things you can do are practically endless. You could collect shells to sell, plant trees to make your town look nice, or even hook up with a friend over Nintendo WI-FI and catch bugs and fish or just chat with the WII SPEAKER.
If your the kind of person who's into that include nothing but shooting and swearing, then this might not be the game for you, but if you're the kind of person who wants to play a simple, non-violent, fun game, then I suggest you get up, grab your wallet, and go buy this game as soon as you finish reading this review.
So you might have figured out by now this is very similar to Wild World for the DS. It's not quite the same. No one notices the major improvements. I expected this game to be much like the DS version, which I own, but it's not.
After looking through the guide for Wild World and then looking at the Wikis for City Folk, I noticed this game has a ton more. First off there is way more stuff, the clothing, furniture, bugs, and fish have been much expanded. There's a lot more to do. This game is beyond just visiting friends and doing boring things. It can be interesting and I find myself playing every day.
There are new special characters/visitors and even some new animals who can live in your town. Yes the City wasn't much of an improvement but who cares, it's Animal Crossing with an upgrade.
One major thing people miss is that the DS version was slow and clunky but this one is full speed and widescreen. Even if it were the same game, it looks and plays so much better. Yeah the Wii controls are lame, but you don't have to use them. You can also plug in a USB keyboard to type letters to people much faster. It helps you to chat if you don't have a microphone. You can use any USB keyboard too, even the one plugged into your computer.
If you like the sims at all, you'll love this game. If you have friends with this game you'll enjoy it more.
