Animal Crossing: City Folk, finally here, but was it as good as we thought??? It's a decent sequel, but not as good as most of us had hoped. Mainly, the game is a recreation of the DS version Animal Crossing: Wild Worlds. However, although it's nearly similar, the City addition is pretty nice, although limited. The game could be improved so much that we could have had a really breath taking game and most Nintendo games are. In the City, you have shops where you can buy items including Crazy Redd's Shop, and Gracie Grace. You have an auction house it which you can display and bid on items if you have friends on your friends list. You have the theater in which you can learn new emotions that you could use in the game, but that's pretty much it. You start out bu moving into town, choosing one of 4 houses and do Tom Nook's beginning jobs. After that, it's classic Animal Crossing, walk around, catch fish, bugs, shoot down balloons, etc. A few new fish were added as well as bugs, and the Museum seems more appealing for some reason making you want to complete it but that's it. Animal Crossing: City folk gets an 8 out of 10.

If you've never played the gamecube or DS versions of this game, do yourself a favor and check this game out. It's pretty much the exact same game, save for the omission of playable NES games.

If you give it a chance you'll undoubtedly fall in love with harvesting fruit and slaving away for your newly discovered animal friends.

If you played either of the previous iterations, chances are you won't be compelled to be Tom Nook's manservant yet again. The addition of online play is decent, but as is the norm with Nintendo's online functionality-could have been better.

I like animal crossing. Since it came out ive been playing it. the thing that i dont' like is the rotation of the screen. Whenever ure going around to a new location (walking,Running) the screen goes in a circular and is circular. This could have been better. The game still features fishing and mueseums and wfc and all. But other than the circularness i reccommend this game for anyone with an open mind even hardcore gamers just to relax(im a hardcore gamer(and in that i mean i like shooters the best) the game is also very addicing longest playing was 7 hours straight. Good game
