Twenty-something Patrick Bateman (Christian Bale) has it all. Good looks. Great job on Wall Street. Huge income. Nice apartment. But what looks great on the surface is twisted and sadistic underneath. Bateman has a ruthless dark side, one driven to commit a grizzly series of reckless murders. As Bateman descends deeper into madness, his reasons for killing become less clear, and his thirst for blood becomes more vile. Friends, co-workers, models, homeless people, and others fall victim to his soul-less homicidal whims, driven by materialism, jealously, and the rampant greed that saturates his existence.
