I picked up my copy of this game just this week. I got it a little earlier than some may have had to wait. I also have it in my Game Q, just switch it for another game once I get it. I was anticipating for the game to play with the feel of around the mixture of Darkness, meets Condemned, with the intensity of Silent Hill. I’m glad that the game wasn’t a spin off of huge successful titles such as those listed.
The story is relatively short, but not long either. Moderately long, which was a nice change up to the previous version I’ve played on other consoles. It’s a strategic shooter game, involving different puzzles to solve throughout the story. Graphics engine is incredibly articulate & smooth in texture. That’s not enough to say, when any of those who haven’t played it as of yet, definitely watch the loads in between. I have a special edition, so I don’t know for sure if it will be the same mini movie sequences, still be patience & watch them in between movie clips.
One of the issues I came across, was that the response to the controls. It’s smooth & then suddenly shaky, making it difficult to control your character. I’ve never had any issues with my 360, I know this much. The problem may lay with the programming in itself. Same similar issue I’ve had with both God of War & God of War II for PS2. Otherwise, that’s my main concern with the game. Enjoy readers!
