Alone in the Dark for Xbox 360 Reviews by Gamers

The story is neat, but unfortunately you'll probably drop kick the game across the room and curse its creators long before you have a chance to appreciate any of the story to the game. The controls are so backwards compared to any other game that you're constantly yelling curses at your screen. It's truly mind numbingly awful, and I say this as a person that LOVES complicated games and controls. These controls are not simply complicated, they were put together by a brain damaged monkey. Episode 2, Sequence 5 is a race in a car that depends more on luck than any amount of skill, and this sequence alone will make you hate the game entirely after you've tried for the hundredth time and still not managed to make it two full city blocks into the race. Seriously, just go put a different game in your queue, you do NOT want to waste your time or your enjoyment on this game. If you want to enjoy the story line, just go to a walkthrough and read it or something, you'll get about as much enjoyment from that as you would from playing this terribly designed game.
