Game Description
Join one of the most storied units in sci-fi lore as you become part of the Colonial Marines from the legendary Aliens universe. Hand-pick the recruits for your team and explore eerie environments straight out of the movies where death-by-alien could lurk around any corner. If any member of your team is caught, you'll have five real-time minutes to get them back before they become an alien host. Use the heavy artillery from the films in a side-scrolling story that evolves based on the team members you choose. Try to survive a mix of explosive combat missions and gripping stealth infiltrations aboard the Sulaco, on LV-426, and more.

Seven months ago I was convinced the DS had seen its last days. With Pokemon and Okamiden in stores, surely all eyes would shift to the Nintendo 3DS, with its major franchises, more powerful graphics and expanded communication abilities. The game truly captures the feelings of the Aliens movies in a 2D sidescroller, but the gameplay is a very watered down version of metroid and gets repetitive very quickly due to the gameplay being very one dimensional (hold shoot and walk backwards to avoid damage). Also, it's a very short game...more
