This game proved to be quite difficult to beat even on easy setting. Some of the aliens would take over 1/2 of a magazine to kill and if they get close and hit you more than twice you are dead even with full health. Your AI backup was pretty much none existant for most of the game. They would shoot at the aliens, but would rarely kill them. there was upgrades you could do to your weapons which was a good pro of the game. Wish you could have upgraded your armor and health but the weapon thing was nice. Great sound affects in the game, and definatly jumped a few times.
Recommend giving it a try if you want a good challenge. Only played solo campaign so not sure how the online parts went I heard they are glitchy and suck, but never tired that to be sure.
The game is probably playable on lower difficulties, but on the highest, your weapons are practically useless, even with upgrades. The game was cool, as an Aliens fan, but I didn't find the game fun enough to sit through playing the entire thing. Checkpoints are way too far apart, and as easily as enemies can kill you, with one simple mistake you can be replaying the last 10-15 minutes that you already played. 4/10
I read the bad reviews. Despite the bad reviews, I decided to give this a fair chance. The truth is that the game feels broken and rushed. Aiming is a pain and close quarters combat (melee) is flawed. Aliens vs Predator plays a heck of a lot better than this game as the controls are responsive. As for the graphics, the environment looks nice from a distance but as you walk up to it, it will reveal its ugly low resolution pixelated objects (like Duke Nukem Forever). I wanted to like it but its flaws just didn't allow it.
