This game is not unplayable as some people would like to tell you. The only way I can review this game is to dissect it section by section. First the single player. The story is awkwardly put together and so is the dialogue but it serves fine for the action. The AI for the game is average, its weird though the AI in some aliens is good they hop around trying to get around running away from your gun fire and staying in the dark. Then their is the AI that runs at you and becomes a bullet sponge (this idea could have been better with the suicide aliens) which doesn't make sense. And the controversy with the mercenaries I like them. (No I don't like COD) but they shouldn't have been the focus of the game that was a bad move. They should have been the secondary like you are warn down from the aliens they come in and you just have nothing left. But sadly not the case. The single player receives a 4. The multiplayer is a WAY different story. The multiplayer is so much fun and challenging. I wish the marines would have a class based system so that only one Marine could have the motion sensor. The modes are fun but the lack of maps will make for them to pump DLC out. The game is worth a rent only if you really enjoy it you should buy. I give Aliens Colonial Marines a 5 out of 10
