I just played A:CM multiplayer, and the graphics look like they were done by a 3rd grader. No host migration, laggy, and the controls feel klanky as hack. There is a bit of enjoyment, but it will not last very long. If you are planning on buying this game, try to hold off for a week or two. This game price will be dropping very soon. If you have the cash to blow, then get it. All the complaints you read about this game are dead on. I have better games on my iPod, seriously!

I went into this game trying to forget about all the negativity that I had read... for once the reviewers were spot on. The story isn't bad and the nuances and nods to the Alien films is cattering to fans. The execution of all the other things ie. controls, graphics, AI are less than stellar. For being some hardened marines that talk and act all gruff they sure didn't hold up their end when battling the Xenos. The AI is attrocious and inempt lending no help what so ever. The looks of the game and screen tearing couldv'e been forgiven if this came out in 06' when it was originally slated to. But in this day with how much the current gen systems take and quality they can produce these visuals are unforgivable. The controls are sometimes unresponsive and sometimes they work as they should. Sounds cames from the movies and are great, sound great and you really feel like you're a CM. The alien animations are stiff and un-natural looking which greatly takes away from the experience. A few chills aside this game is worth a rent when all the good stuff is gone.
