At first I thought I might of picked up a PS2 game with how awful the graphics are but this actually was released in 2013. I'm no Crisis fan but these are so bad that it's dificult see enemies and objects. I've seen better cutscenes in strategy games.
There is nothing from the gameplay to make up for that either, movement and mechanics are as archaic as the graphics.
Thinking maybe the story would make it worth the suffering I played through even the dialogue that seems to have been written by 13 year old but by the end it was just as disapointing.

Let me just say that I am not the biggest fan of the Aliens movies, they are good, don't get me wrong but I didn't pick this game up just because of them. I rented this title because I thought it looked fun, and it held true to that, for a little while. I thought the graphics looked decent, they could have been better, but I really don't care. The sounds were beautiful, right down to making me constantly look back over my shoulder. I found the AI to be...sub-par...to put it nicely. Your fellow marines just didn't seem to be worth much and the Xenos...well i remember them being tactful. Here they just seemed to charge you from wherever they were, while entertaining for a while, it gets rather old. I cannot say that I beat the game before I sent it back, just the thought of putting the game back in didn't really seem worth it. To me the game got old rather quickly, though the online versus did keep my attention for about an hour, i also didn't see the point in holding onto the game any longer. To each their own but this one is getting a 4 from me.
