Game Description

You'll set out to explore strange new worlds, seek out new life, and blow it to pieces in this sci-fi action/RPG adventure! Play as Earth Command Lieutenant Aileen Harding as you journey through a massive sci-fi world. A gigantic horde of attacking aliens awaits you, with 110 different monsters, 15 sub-bosses, and 5 big bosses. Grab your choice of 80 different weapons and keep your hands steady as you aim with the Wiimote and Nunchuck controller. You've also got a trusty robot sidekick who joins you in battle and will swap out your weapons and armor anytime. Alien Syndrome also features 15 levels, customizable character options, four-player co-op, and more.

Alien Syndrome has gotten plenty of mediocre to negative press and my expectations for the game were suitably low going into it.
