This first-person, survival-horror stealth game takes the Alien franchise back to its inception. Like the first Alien movie, this one is heavy on dread, horror, and dark corridors. You play as Amanda, whose investigation of Ripley's disappearance is interrupted by the slimy, acid-blooded Alien that murdered the crew of Ripley's vessel. Alien: Isolation is all about a head-to-head battle of wits with the creature, and the AI shows it. The Alien hunts the player through sound, sight, and smell, and its reactions are clever enough that you'll swear it's actually alive. The AI "learns" through your actions, at the same time you learn how the Aliens behaves. The levels are non-linear, with multiple routes and randomized placement of objects, so players can enjoy a different terrifying experience every time they play.
