The game seemed really interesting at first. But There was alot of lagging in the game for me. I like the idea behind it. But there seemed to not be enough thought into the back story. Yea there was a story but nothing with much intensity to it. If u like morbid murderous games. This is for u. But I like more of a decision based game. The background in the game was also not very thought out. I couldn't get through the first hour of the game without getting bored with it.

Boring and Uneventful...

The game looked good. But looks can be deceiving. I knew it was an action platformer (killing a bunch of enemies and jumping from moving block to moving block a lot), and I usually like games like that. This is an exception. I just wasn't having fun playing this game. It just seemed boring, and simple. The voice acting is monotone, at least for Alice, as she talks to herself...a lot. It's just mediocre at best. Linear levels, repetitive combat, uninteresting story, its just boring. I didn't like it, but I didn't hate it either.

Interesting concept...

I have not played the first, but was aware of the cult following it had. I decided to check out this game on it's premise alone, but unfortunately that's all it really offered. The storyline is the game's best aspect, as the gameplay is subpar. The worlds, although unique and colorful, are not what you would expect from a PS3 game. As a matter of a fact, all graphics are average at best besides the detail of Alice's character. Camera angles are poorly done making battling tough without physically locking on each enemy. If you try it and do indeed enjoy it, the length of the game offers a good play for the buck.

Interesting story
Voice acting

Poor use of camera angles
Gets repetitive
Battle mechanics could use some work
Glitchy in certain ponts
