Afro Samurai for Xbox 360 Reviews by Gamers

Afro Samurai was no Ninja Gaiden it had great combat modes but I found myself button mashing outta boredom of constantly fighting one bad guy after another. With little story involved ud walk about ten feet fight 20 villains walk to feet more etc. it was just very repetitive; if that wasn’t bad enough the camera view was terrible especially in boss battles it was super glitchy and confusing the game lacked a lot in its camera angles and eventually got annoying I couldn’t stand to waste the time beating the game before I jus returned it. Hah id rather play FEAR 2

If you've ever seen Afro Samurai, and liked it, you'll feel right at home with this Ninja Gaden style slasher. Even if you're new to this twisted tale, you should still enjoy the amazing graphics and easy controls. At first, I loved this games flow. The crazy story and cartoon likeness to every detail, even the voice over by Sam the man himself, but all of that wonder and enjoyment soon turned into frustration and disappointment.
For starters, if you're like me, I couldn't skip through the already viewed scenes after dying in the game, which happens alot. In some cases, you won't even have the chance to get back up to fight before you're dead, or even realize that you're badly hurt to try and find the sporadic healing bears. Once you begin to better understand the combos you tell yourself it'll all be alright, until another slew of foes come charging at you and your attempt to try your new x, x, x, y, y, y, x turns into just trying to make it through so you don't have to sit through another unskipable scene, or Mr. Jackson yelling at you to "cut the rope."
If you're a super player who can make it through any game without a problem, go for it. As I said before, I loved the idea, the graphics and all else included. The actual lay of the game though, horrible.
