Worth playing....once

A fun hack and slash game, but very little replay value. Repetitive hordes of the same bad guys, glitches all over, and a pointless level up system. If you like a lot of blood, hacking away until your blue in the face, and a good twist on the afro samurai storyline...then this game is for you.

Game is kool and easy to get through levels. Only question I have is what happened to the trophies?

Weak

Afro Plays like Kratos on Marijuana

I'm not a follower of the cartoon, so I don't have a ton of loyalty to the character or series. At its best the game is an excellent hack and slash game. At its worst, you'll spend quite a bit of time frustrated with the poor platforming. The wall runs and jumps are clumsy and frequently difficult to execute. Samuel L. Jackson is featured in his typical role of the loud, yelling, swearing sidekick that doesn't add much. You don't have the ability to customize your character with leveling. There story is fair but forgettable. Overall a reasonable rent while you wait for God of War 3 and Batman.
