I was eagerly anticipating this game since I'm a fan of the cartoon. However, (and you kind of figured that was coming), I was under whelmed overall. THE GREAT: The graphics (when they aren't fouled up by the awkward camera angles/controls...more on that later) were brilliant. The storyline I found adequately in key with the original with a few side bars. Samuel Jackson and all the voice-overs were superb. THE AWFUL: If I could curse in this review I'd say the &%#! CAMERA CONTROLS AND ANGLES WERE &%$#! TERRIBLE!! Why they chose to have these &%$#! angles (which made me pull my hair out at times during the game......and did I mention I'm bald) is totally beyond me. Certain parts of the game had such crazy visual positions that I almost gave up. Still overall, it was worth playing. Hope they address the camera issues in part two should they be inclined to make a sequel.

When I heard they were creating this game I was extremely excited. This game had so much potential but it all went to waste. Let me stert with the pros and cons
Main characters are designed very well Nice voice acting done by all involved Ample amount of combinations Nice soundtrack
Horrible opening Choppy Gameplay Horrible Camera Annoying Loading screens Many more
In a nutshell this game was not worth it. Maybe it can be justified with a rent but under no circumstances should anyone buy this game. The action parts are nice but the camera angle ruins everyone. The loading screens are going to make you want to commit samurai suicide with your controller. It chops all over the place. Afro will run, then skip like he was a broken record. Its weird. And also for all you trophey collectors, Afro Samurai has none. This was almost as dissapointing as Superman 64
