Advent Rising for Xbox Reviews by Gamers

While this isn't the greatest game, I fully enjoyed this game for it's story. The psychic powers you obtain, despite being over powered, are fun to mess with. The game is a bit buggy, but overall, I fully enjoyed this game and recommend at least a try.

Advent Rising is a great game underneath a few flaws that are somewhat difficult to overlook. When playing this game there are some issues with control and lag, although the lag is scarce and even then small it can still be noticeable. But the main problem a lot of people have with this game is the controls. They can be difficult but even though I had little problems with them I can understand the dilemma. Now onto where this game shines, story line the story line in this game is compelling and intricate. These are the story lines gamers like myself play for. And as far as your powers go they are easy to use and quickly become your most powerful weapon. They will literally take over the use of weapons in this game. Overall if you can really look past the minor and even avoidable flaws you will find yourself a new franchise to follow and become a fan boy for. 9 out of 10 for me I loved it.
