Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising for Game Boy Adv Reviews by Gamers

The Advance War series is an oasis of strategy goodness in a desert of tired old retread titles. It consistently provides solid strategy with more layers than
a slice of lasagna. While this game is extremely enjoyable; it gets so much better. If you own a DS i would highly recommend skipping this title and playing either of the two excellent Advance Wars games on that system. If you've played both DS titles and are looking to check out the games roots; you may find this title a little lacking. Don't get me wrong; this is a great game; but it just doesn't have the features that this series has evolved into. If all you have is a GBA though, than all I can say is rent and enjoy!!

I believe that this games was pretty good. It has all the good stuff from the first with more innovative bonuses. For instance there are more COs more maps as well as some of the classic mutiplayer map, with many unlockables and difficulty levels this games has awesome replay value and is a overall great games good for whatever you Fancy I always suggest renting a game before you buy and I still do but if I had to go "blind" I would buy this game. So why did I rate it a 8 because after about Green Earth (about level 30 or so) I got tiered of the story mode, I felt the games was going to hard, and wasting my rental so I sent it back. I found that this was a passive thing and after I had sent it back I craved to play it again :# . A awesome rental and a good buy.
