Game Description
The action is more intense than ever in this Ace Combat saga that translates FPS-style kill shots into an air-combat sim. Colonel Bishop and his brigade of flying aces has a simple peace-keeping mission on lockdown, until the rebels play an unexpected card: an incredibly powerful experimental weapon. As word of the weapon spreads, the mission spirals into a global struggle to control this devastating new military technology. Fly new Ace Combat aircraft including an attack helicopter, bomber, and gunship, and battle using the dizzying Close-Range Assault system. As you rain fire on your enemies, you'll watch their planes get torn apart in a flurry of exploding fuel and steel.

Ace Combat Assault Horizon is not the Ace Combat I knew from the first 6 games. It's like it tried too hard to be like Call of Duty with airplanes, and I hadn't even made it to the Spectre gunship mission yet. I hope that if another Ace Combat is made, it goes back to the roots of what made it good.more
