Best of the BEST in Flight/Combat Sims

Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation. The name Ace Combat Personifies flying and fight simulation. The game itself is bar none the very best of all the Ace Combat Series. It is absolutely amazing how realistic the game is. You truly feel like you are flying and fighting for the freedom of the land. Although slightly corny the storyline it is all together HIGHLY MOTIVATING and excruciatingly addicting. I can’t play it enough. I will put it this way I have had to buy the game 2times because I have worn out the first disc. I take the very best care of all my games. But because of my love for this game and my constant and frequent playing I wore the disc out. It never EVER gets old.
One of the best parts of this game is the Artificial Intelligence or AI. The AI not only participates in the game to the highest level it also fallows commands that the user puts forth. With a simply push down on the Directional pad or D-Pad you can command all of your allied aircraft to come to your assistance if you are being overwhelmed. The higher the mode you set it to the more the D-Pad becomes a factor. You may not use it in the Normal or the Easy mode but you may want to consider it as you move the difficulty higher. Then a push up on the D-Pad you can command your allied aircraft to go back to the attack the enemy. You also have an AI Controlled Wingman named Shamrock. He comes in useful as well when you’re in a dog fight. He can stay high above you on your six in order to provide cover for you while you fight. Also the allied planes you have they are not just for show they participate in the highest form of AI Activity in all of the Ace Combat Series.
You truly feel that you’re in the driver seat of the Jet you have chosen to fly. The AI doesn’t control your plane it is totally left up to the control of the user. There is nothing more to say other then Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation has the Mr. McSkee STAMP of APPROVAL ALL THE WAY.

Now, There are very few game's that are worth a TOTAL TEN to me. Games on this list include TES V: Skyrim, Assassin's Creed 2, The Original Mass Effect, and Halo Combat Evolved. So believe me when i tell you, that unlike it's Successor, Ace Combat 6 is more then worthy of being up here in the Top line up.

The Gameplay is AMAZING, and actually feels as if your flying a Fighter Jet, and for it's age, it's Graphics are pretty darn good, actually. Beyond that, the Selection of Jets is Huge, and varied. Everything from F-117 Nighthawk, to the A-10A Warthog, to the F-22 Raptor, and even the series exclusive Fictional CFA-44 Noseferatu, Which by the way is a BEAST to fly. It's Handling rivals the Raptor, and possesses a Weapon that can wipe out entire Batallions of ground troops, or an entire fighter Squadron in one move.

Then comes something Unexpected, a Solid Storyline experience that follows multiple Characters, Such Sgt. McKnight and his Tank Crew, An Estovakian Military Colonel and several Orphans. All this comes together to create a wonderful Drama of life at war, along with a wonderful ride that truly lets you go Dance With the Angels.

Plus, with a Music Score that Sweet, what more could you want?

Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation Get's a Perfect Score of 10 from me. This game is Worth buying as soon as you can manage.
