300: March to Glory for PSP Reviews by Gamers

Overall, I believe this was an awesome game. The gameplay was very exciting and fun. I mean come on!!!! Fighting thousands of Persian soldiers with your brother Spartans fighting right next to you!!!! AWESOME!!! The only reason i gave this game a 9 was because of the monotonous combos. All though the combos that they have are very cool and are in slow motion when you do them, it would have made the game better if they put some more in. I liked how as you kill more Persian soldiers, you get more kleos. Kleos is the Sparta word for honor. These kleos represent money in the game so you can buy new weapons, armor, combos ect. I recommend this game to anyone who likes fighting games and killing people, but not to whom are squimish at seeing the sight of animated blood, because there is lots of that in this game!!!!!!

300: March to Glory is one of the best fighting/action-adventure games you can get for the PSP. The graphics are pretty good for a PSP title though some of the scenery feels slightly the same. The fighting system is great especially being able to switch from sword/shield to spear/shield to dual swords(gain with enough experience). The upgrade system is really cool especially using kills as money to upgrade. You can upgrade your armor, shield, sword and spear. Also you are able to upgrade your sword/shield, spear/shield, and dual swords combos. As you progress you gain certain powers, such as slowing time, increased defense, increased attack and healing which you are able to activate once fill up a bar by killing people. A nice thing about the game is being able to fight as a single spartan to controlling a phalanx or line of spartans fighting as one. They toss in a lot of different enemies so you never get bored with a single type. They have go from fighting just a couple of people to defending yourself from a swarm of enemies to battle a massive boss. The downside of the bosses is that some of them are rather easy with enough skill and timing your attacks. Another downside is that it is kind of short and you can beat it in a single weekend of endless play, but you may have to play it twice to get all the upgrades. All in all this game is a must for any hardcore PSP gamer and is rather addictive so once you start you might not want to stop.
