Game Description
1080 returns with its debut on the GameCube, with smooth-as-ice controls, photo-realistic graphics, and breath-taking slopes! As fans of the original know, unlike EA's flashy SSX titles, 1080 focuses less on over-the-top action and more on snowboarding's true feel, harmonizing graphics, physics and controller response into a graceful synergy. With 1080 you "feel" the float of powdered snow and the top-of-the-world hang of insane airs. You'll also pull crazy tricks including flips, spins, grinds and tweaks, all the while evading massive avalanches, rockslides, bridge collapses and wildlife. No other game approaches the true highs of outdoor snowboarding while also seriously boosting the thrills. 1080: Avalanche is a rare virtual and natural high!
