BASIC CONTROLS
Control Pad Move around in the field or move the cursor on Menu Screens
A Button Select a command, talk to a person in front of you, check out an item in front of you, or scroll through next.
L Button Basically not used. However, if you change Button Modes
Start/Pause Bring up the menu when in the field. Select = Arrange items, change the order of a Pokemon's Move during battle, or use items.
