Velvet Assassin for PC Reviews by Gamers

Tried installing in every compatibility mode under Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. Game will not run at all.

huge fan of games in this genre but was very let down. the ai is bad yes they get dumb lucky at times but pretty dumb to be honest. this isn't the worst game ever made but its very unforgiving at times and doesn't feel rewarding. the game limits u to very few weapons were i wish they would do more of a hitman approach and let you keep what you find on bodies. the morphine trips she takes was the only enjoyable thing about this game and my first thought was this could be a very unique game. while under the influence of morphine which allows you to sneak past enemy's or take down one enemy of your choice. its very linear as well there's just one way to complete an objective and i really think thats a huge weakness of what this game could of been. overall i would not recommend this game to anyone just doesn't feel complete but i know some will say im to harsh but this is how i honestly feel. final rating DONT PLAY THIS GAME

This game might not win any awards but it is a really fun game. The graphics aren't horrible and you do have to put a bit of effort in some levels in order to pass it. Most of the time it does tend to be a bit easy especially with her special power. Otherwise than that it is worth checking out when getting it for free.

Well like almost every other game on here I am having problems playing it. It seems like no one else is having a problem with this paarticular game but I certaintly am. I can start up the launcher but when I press play it just exits out. Any suggestions?

The graphics were really surreal and awesome, but my character moves way too slow (even the AI moves faster and normal) and the reaction time is delays as much as 3 secs, which really counts when you're using the morphine or trying to sneak past crowds. I fiddled with the resolution settings with very minimal results. It also had very akward controls. I understand it may very well be my computer, but I still find it a pity that I can't play this properly...

Not Impressed at all. This game is fun for 5 mins and then you realize that the game engine just doesn't respond like your used too with games like call of duty and halo. Even free its not worth the time.

Smooth graphics and gameplay, but of course that all depends on the system it plays on as well. Its worth a try and play on and off but it didn't grab me in and keep me playing it for hours on end. Its a good time killer for those who have an hour every once in a while to play.
