The Walking Dead for PC Reviews by Gamers

I was hesitant to purchase this game. I had heard how different it was from most of the other genres I played (FPS, RTS, RPG, etc.) and I was not sure how this game would fit into my taste of games. Given the word of mouth I've heard about this game and how I am a huge fan of the tv show, I decided to give this game a honest chance. After the first episode, my mind was blown away.

The story is fantastic. The dialog and music help to create an apocalyptic environment that evokes feelings of fear, hope, and anguish. The characters you meet pull at your emotions and the decisions you make which affect these characters affects you so much that at times you don't realize you're not playing an action game. You genuinely feel for the characters and to have a game evoke such emotions in such a short amount of time is such an amazing feat.

Each episode is a few hours long (I didn't time it, but maybe 2-3 hours an episode) and feel much longer because the story is so gripping and so well told. It's great for the causal play, but be warned, once you start you may not want to stop.

Do not hesitate to buy the game like I did. Go buy it now!

This game is like Heavy Rain. The only way it is different is that it has zombies. Walking dead has dialogue options like Heavy Rain. It is a graphic adventure game like h.r. It even has tasks of choosing what to do and what to say and if you make poor choices, a character could die.

concept: try to succeed in making good choices in a game based on the comic series by Robert Kirkman and Tony Moore.
graphics: character models are very clear and detailed,but some environments appear flat.
sound: Serious voices match the story, but that made me a little sad and nearly ruined the fun.
play ability: The controls are responsive, but it takes slitely to long to pause.
entertainment: like an advanced version of H.V. You do not need to be patient to have fun. I am expecting episode 3 to be better than 2.
