Horrible

first level problem

I did what people to fix the black screen problem, the intro plays, i try to talk to the cop, and the game freezes. i restarted the game multiple times, looked up many problem solving sites, and try countless changes only to have the same problem over and over again.

1-Find the game's install folder and right-click on the application (the one called "Game"), then click on properties
2-Click on the compatibility tab and under "Run this program in compatibility mode for:", choose windows 98/ME. Also, it's probably a good idea that you make sure that the box is checked ;)
3-Under Settings (same compatibilty window), click the box that reads "Disable Visual Themes".
4-Press "Apply" and close this window.
5-Under your Display Properties, turn your resolution down to 800x600 - this is the game's native resolution and it'll freeze up if has to switch over to it.
6-Turn down the lights and turn up the volume
7-Enjoy the fruits of your labor - sure it's alot of work, but worth the few minutes of your time for this great game!

Horrible

Another Unlimited play game which doesn't work.

Initially freezes at startup, after following the instruction found in other reviews it will run untill after the intro as soon as your charater leaves the first screen in freezes. Noticing a pattern with these free to play games. Not impressed.

Its called that cause 5 seconds into the game it freezes and your stuck in still life forever!

Perfect

Great story to a great game!!

I played this game a long time ago and I loved it!! Of course you have to love point and click adventure games of the sort like I do, but you'll find yourself glued to your seat and by the time your done, you'll want to put still life 2 in your computer and play it!! Of course when I played this game I had to wait for the sequel to come out so it was like a soap opera, but all in all a wonderful game, if you like these type of games then play it at once you wont regret it!!!!!

Yet another game that does not work

I tried the "fix" that worked for one of the reviewers, but it just did not work for me. I'm starting to wonder about the Unlimited PC Play gimick. I'm thinking it's not worth it.

The worst

I waited 4 hours for this to download, and then the game would not work. I first had a black screen. After following troubleshooting advice from another review I was able to start the game. However, the game would freeze again in the 1st scene. what a colassal waste of time.

Still life with Vista

I had heard this game was good but the moment I tried to play it all i got was a black screen, If anyone who downloads this game has a vista I implore you to uninstall it and buy a CD version instead of relying on gamefly.

Perfect

Blast from the past!

Gr8 game with allot of mystery, suspense & horror! If you love survival horror games then this is the one for you. It has a gr8 story line and if you're an old school gamer like me then the graphics want bother you, after all I grew up playing the Atari so that's how old school I am. This is one game if you're a horror fan that you should pick up and play. Trust me it's worth your time and you will love it.
