Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is one of the most phenomenal games I've ever played. With completely customizable skills, feats, and powers, this game makes for a unique experience that can be replayed differently every time you play it. Not to mention the light side/dark side changes.
I rated this game a 10 for the following reasons:
Pros:
Awesome gameplay
Great length
Sweet customization
Challenging combat
Unique everytime you play it.
Cons:
Graphics, obviously not up to date, but I did not hold the graphics quality against the rating, seeing as it's a fairly old game.
A little too hard?- In some moments of this game, it seems to me that are almost, if not, impossible to beat. The developers definitely made this game hard, I'll give them that. Although, its extremely frustrating.
To elaborate, (SPOILERS) when you finally get the Star Forge after a laborious run through the temple on the only planet in the Star Forge system, there isn't many challenges at first, if you have the right powers, such as Destroy Droid. But at about half way on your way to kill Malak (or whatever you're on your way to do), Malak calls all the reinforcements (Dark Jedi, Heavy Troopers, the whole shamzam) on you. You open a gate, and you fight a ton of people, which, due to the excess of Dark Jedi, are extremely difficult to kill, also due to the Dark Jedi's endless stun powers. And that continues for who knows how long, as I have yet to beat it.
After that lengthy explanation, the final rating I give this game is indeed a 10, although some aspects bring it down a tiny bit.
