Great game, but...

I have all of the system requirements(and then some). When the game works, it runs smoothly and is an absolute joy to play. But for some unexplained(and continuously unresolved) issue, after every re-install, the game will work until I restart my computer, and then it will freeze immediately after the intro movie. Every other game I've downloaded through D2D runs perfectly, this game is just unneedingly glitched. If it were more reliable, it would be a perfect 10.

I've lost interest in this game, Haven't played it since May 2011.. IDK, I guess it's boring now.. I have most of the steam achievements, but most are rinse and repeat... I have no need at the moment to play it again.. I wish I could Just give it away..

Best Civ Graphics

whether you use the "DirectX 9" or the "DirectX 10 & 11" mode Civ V has the best graphics quality of the entire Civ series, I prefer the "DirectX 10 & 11" mode since it give a more in depth 3D like appearance as well as more color vibrancy than the "directx 9" mode, although if your computer is closer to the minimal requirements than i highly suggest you use the "directx 9" mode for smoother gameplay
