Saints Row 2 for PC Reviews by Gamers

The game works fine for me with Windows 7 until about 15 minutes after playing, then it freezes up on me. My specs should be enough, and I even have everything turned down. It seems like there something out of control about the way this game starts consuming resources. I can load the game, and just stand still and eventually it jams me up. I can then kill it in task manager and get right back in for another 15 minutes.

From all the reading I've been doing this is one of the worst ports ever.

The game itself seems really fun. I say, give it a shot and see what happens. Just be ready for it not to work.

If you do run it on Windows 7, make sure you download powertools. It adjusts the game speed that the game runs at. Apparantly there is some bug, aside from all the other issues, that causes the game to speed up depending on the speed of your processor. I was actually able to get that working fine through the use of powertools.

ok im not basing this review on whether the game works or not (haven't tested it YET) but this game is amazing theres so much to do character creation is pretty in depth, the world is just huge there are so many side missions and things you can do just for fun like a parachuting mini game that allows you to unlock no fall damage, go way out in the ocean where theres this giant pink thing as an easter egg way off the map, or (if u have a nice motorcycle) drive straight UP a building! you can buy many different bases and customize them and get homies in them, save your cars in them, play a mini zombie game, rewatch videos, and replay missions. Think old school Grand Theft Auto but way better and bigger and although it doesnt look as good as grand theft auto 4 the replay value is far higher and overall the game is just way way funner! ...PS: look for zombie carlos he's dope ROFL
