love this game but for some reason it will stop responding after awhile or if u go look at certain clothes dont know if its just mine or what but still great game

its fun and all but somethings wrong with frame rate it is slow and extremely frustrating anybody else having these problems or have a awnser plz tell me

I have a brand spanking new laptop, a new gateway model with inhanced gaming equip. and it shuts down on me constantly. Do not Download this game!

I have downloaded this game 3 diffrent times and every time I get a download error. I really wanted to play it but if it won't download then I cann't play it. I have never played this game before and have heard that it is really fun so I was like I will try it, but no the game won't let me. I really hop that gamefly fixes the download problem because I know that a bunch ofpeoplethat really want to play this game.

Excellent

Solid game but crashes often

The game is definitely a ton of fun and has some good elements that prove it's not just a GTA clone.

But the game seems to crash somewhat often and nothing is more annoying that finishing a long mission and it crashing just before you can save the progress. I have a good gaming computer and have tweaked my pc and ingame graphics but no luck eliminating the crashing.

Has anyone else had any luck figuring out if anything can be done to prevent crashing?

Well don't get me wrong, I love Saints Row, but DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME!!!!! Not only does it crash on alot of computers, It is laggy. So even if you do get to the gameplay, it's virtually unplayable because of how laggy it is. You cant even drive a car without going every where

saints row 2 operated very poorly on my computer, low graphics and extremly laggy. no matter what graphic options i used low or custom, the game still operated very poorly. ive played SR2 on my xbox when it first came out and was very fun and still is but is unenjoyable on pc. ive played high graphic games on my computer so its not the computer, ive you want to play SR2 its best to go to a used game store for console

Good game not as good as GTA

Game installed just fine had to use powertools to slow the game down it loves the mutli-core cpus to much and doesnt know how to handle it. Not Gamefly's fault it THQ's problem that they haven't solved but there is a third-party devloper that has a fix just Google powertools for Saints Row 2 pc. Enjoyed it havent played it thru yet not as fun as GTA in my opinion.

On a side note: Those of that think games download to slow well thats most likely caused by how fast your internet speed is, your computer's CPU, RAM, GPU speed, Windows 7 doesnt download faster than XP
W7 may have better support for mutli-core cpus that its able to handle more at once so you may get better performace how of your computer which could resault in more consistant speeds but that is only determined by Who your ISP is. If you have Cable or Fiber optic provider your more likey to be able to download much faster say than DSL users it doesnt have anything to do with some cooler you have for your laptop.
