Good graphics for this style of game and it does support windows 7 and xbox 360 controller for windows. You just need to enable it in Options then gameplay. You need to install Direct X 9c to get the best performance out of it but adjust the shadows from Ultra to High and it seems to be running very well with no lagging or crashing so far. I give this game a 8 for the style and storyline. you need to like RPG games to play a game like this the other 2 reviews i seen on here are not accurate. I been playing RPG games for a few years and i even played Risen 1 if you like Risen 1 then you'll love Risen 2 Dark Waters

All this game has in common with risen is the character names. It is the same as the Battlefield Earth movie compared to the book. The \is games is set in the time of pirates, not magic. Now there is Voodoo and guns instead of magic and medievil weapons. As to the combat, be prepared to hate it. You cannot block or parry, you have to earn and then buy this skill, you cannot even evade. The aility to jump aside is there but does not work if you are fighting, as ony hit will reste you character to the standing position. I have died countless times trying to side step with a full health bar, only to stand in one spot and get hit repeatedly.

This game should have been called Pirates of the Carrabiean as it is that story with the Titans thrown in just to keep the old story in there a little.
If you have NOT played Risen, I would reccomend this game if you like pirates, if you have played Risen, keep shopping as their is no refund nd you will be stuck wth it.
