Rage has been a frustrating topic for id's John Carmack. The game released on PC in late 2011 with plenty of problems, then he apologized to QuakeCon attendees this year for how the game performed. A patch for Rage on PC was issued over the weekend, fixing up a few bugs and adding new options. id's John Carmack has also spoken on the driver issues that saw "half of our PC customers" get "a product that basically didn't work." Read more

AMD will issue an updated driver later today, which should in theory fix the bugs in the PC version of Rage. Read more
