Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee for PC Reviews by Gamers

I also am in the group of people having a hard time getting this game to run. It ran the first time I tried but certainly had a glitch at the title selection screen but I was able to go onto play. Bummer was when I went to continue play today it would not run at all. I had to uninstall the gamefly client because I couldn't even get that to open, and then choose to play the game through the gamefly client instead of my shortcut. Things were going well when all the sudden my computer shut the game down saying that there was some sort of issue, same issue as had happened over and over before I reinstalled the gamefly client! How frustrating!!!!! I have a 1 year old Alienware laptop that can handle games with ease. Shouldn't be a problem so I'm guessing it's the game not our systems. Too bad this isn't on the XBOX 360 or the Wii or at least I'd have a different platform to try it on because I really enjoyed the game! :(

I loved tthis game when it first came out. So much so that I wanted to play it again. However, after multiple installs, this game still did not function on my computer. I have a 2 year old gaming rig. It should easily have handled this game. Very dissappointing.

If you want to play this game ignore the desktop shortcut and use the play now button in the Gamefly client. This is the only way it will work without crashing instantly.

I love the game and it works perfectly for me. I don't know if it is coincedence or not, but I found out the game doesn't work for me unless I have the gamefly client app open and running in the background. So for those of you who are having problems getting the game to play, try running the gamefly app in the background then play the game from there. It works for me and I LOVE THIS GAME!!!! It has good game play and an excellent storyline.

the most epic and awesomest bodatious game in the whole odd universe and galaxy

As an avid player of both Abe's oddysey and exoddus when they released, I can confidently say this is a great additon to the series, the humor, voice acting, and well, everything from the first two is there and more. My only complaints are the default controls (Raghh!) and the camera can (occasionally) be goofy, but it was released for xbox in 2001 so, really, who cares just change them via menu and such. I suggest standard WASD movement with [numpad zero, numpad period, and numpad enter] as your weapon, action, and chant. (vice versa for south paw) leaving the default camera as moving the mouse for when it does goof up. Or whatever suits you. Hope it was helpful.
