Morrowind Game of the Year Edition for PC Reviews by Gamers

Well to start off I have to say that Morrowind has many great aspects that make it equal to or better then oblivion. you start off as all Elder Scrolls games do as a prisoner that has no idea why he/she is being let go. Playing through Morrowind is something you just need to experiences. The Skill system is well rounded having major and miner skills which in any order help you level up. Unlike Oblivion and Skyrim where you are limited to a preset amount of weapons. Morrowind gives you an over whelming set of weapons ranging from daggers to spears for melee and bows to throwing weapons for range. Making it hard to choose which weapon to start of with. The general story line is one of the best that I have seen so far very engaging and has some difficulties making it hard to beat the game if you are still a weak level. Like Oblivion and Skyrim you have the option to go and explore random dungeons, join one of the guilds, or just go on a killing spree.

Now there where some flaws that would sometimes make the game a little annoying. Some of the problems that this game had was the fighting/magic system. The fighting/magic system of Morrowind is a little hard to get use to. Just because its a hit or miss system. know this is only a problem during the beginning of the game but as you level up the fighting system becomes less and less of a nuisance. The last problem that I saw in the game had to do with magic and stamina usage and regeneration. Everything that you do in Morrowind uses Stamina From attacking to running. Making the game hard to live when all you want to do is run from one place to another. but all you have to do is slow down and take a breather. As for the magic regeneration there is none you have to rest to gain magic back a little annoying if you choose to be a Mage but not impossible just buy or make Mana potions.

Morrowind is a brilliant RPG, unlike Oblivion. This game has a well-constructed story, with a very detailed faction setting, a stunning enviroment diversity, a well balanced skill system, same for the magic system, satisfying side-quests. Indeed this game is on par with Baldur's Gate.
