Its hard, but i enjoyed it.If u like war sim game this is one u need to give a try. Didn't have any problems with it downloading or playing, played great.

this is by far one of the most realistic games i have ever played before i would recomend this game for experieniced statagey players such as my self i dont reccomend this for people who are new to any type of statagy games

This is one sick game, although at times, it can be pretty difficult even on the easiest setting. Takes some real stratagy. Good stuff, definitely recommend.

Honestly a great game with fantastic graphics if your running a modern setup. This is perhaps the best fusion possible of RTS and FPS.
The action is visceral and you feel the pain when you see your men cut down by a tank or well placed artillery on the hill side. You can control the tactics and even the makeup of the team you want to manuever around with, pick up supplies and weapons, take over weapon platforms, choose the way and weapon with which you attack.....truly an in depth strategist dream and a micro-managers wet dream.

Drawbacks : You have to really pay attention to whats going on all around you. While this does add tremendous depth and excitement it also tends to lead to you loosing a lot of men . There is also soo many things at once, much like a real battle, that it can get confusing and disorienting real quick.

Qualities : A.I. that will destroy you if you are not paying attention. They are quick and responsive to your actions
Historical background sprinkled throughout is accurate and interesting
Visceral and obvious combat, fantastic graphics
large and complicated maps that require real skill to manuvere through...cant just meat-grind through this one.

The game is pretty good however my main complaint is the game has no tutorial it just through me into the first mission and I had a very vague idea what to do but after you figure out the controls it can be a very fun game.

On the exterior of this game it just looks like an average WW2 rts. This game covers the elite Russian forces of the black coats, these units are the elite navy of the Russians from my perception. This game has about 20 missions. Each mission varies from time to time especially on how well you can plan things out. I say a average play time for each mission is a 1 hour and a half. Well I am ok at the game. This game is a direct rts where you have a mission you have to do and there are primary and optional goals to accomplish. This game supports different ways to play while my style is the metal gear or rambo style of play where I send in a single guy and sabotage areas. While a more veteran rts player can probably send in a squad and do these mission no problem.
The story of this game is like said before is just about the elite navy of the Russian "Black Coats" but at times it has to do with a airborne squad. This game is split up into campaigns which consist about 5 or so missions. The setting is during WW2, you could say that has been overdone by now well sort of true this game covers the eastern front which is not really described much in American history books. Do to them being a elite force most missions starts with sabotage. This game focuses mostly on vehicles and trust me they make this game alot easier but it is not cake walk either since most enemies have at weapons or grenades which can make this game a pain.
In this game it introduces the ability of direct control so it adds 3rd person shooter elements into the game which makes it alot more friendlier to most gamers. This game is really fun since your troops are not always ready for future engagements so you loot the dead for ammo or weapons or kits. I play this game on a 2008 laptop so if you have a decent rig you will be ok on running .This game will chew you up and spit you out but if you persist this game is worth your time also it is free so give it a try.
