I have to say that I truly enjoyed this game. Overall I rated it a 9 of 10 (I have to be REALLY impressed to throw out a 10). I have never been a fan of FPS or TPS games so this game has taken me by surprise. It's no wonder that it was recieved so well, I just gave it a shot when it was on sale for $5. Here is a breakdown:
Gameplay: 8 - Overall the flow was pretty easy to get used to, but some actions seemed alittle stilted. Not a distraction from the game in the long run, but having such odd commands left me struggling to remember where they were mapped. Companion AI was a little glitchy at the end, but didn't really detract from the game. I could definatly tell that I'm playing a console port.
Graphics: 9 (for the time) - Hard to get much better than this for the time of it's release.
Sound: 8 - The music is fitting, the voice overs were mostly done well. Only a few times did it seem a little strained.
Storyline: 10 - Flippin' awesome. Very engaging, even when I was unfamiliar with the way the galaxy worked, the in game journal notes helped me sort things out and get into the game. If you have played SWTOR, you can see where much of the game play came from.
Replay: 7 - Once you play through, doing it from other classes doesn't change the storyline options, just how you fight.
Value: 10 (at $5, 8 at $15) - I probably would not have purchaed this had it not been in the $5 bin. If it is $10 or less when you read this, GET IT! Even if you are like me and not a fan of FPS/TPS it is worth the money.
I know that it doesn't total to 9, but there is that X-factor that brings the total experience to a 9. Have fun!
