I played this game years ago in grade school. Found it a few days ago on GF, and I'm playing again. Only this time I'm in college. This is a great game for all ages. Sure, Windows 7 does have some freezing issues, but it is easily remidied with constant saves, and after a few crashes, it fixes itself. Great game, worth the download.

Cool take on RTS style Kingdom simulator

The previous review on this game doesn't do this game justice and is far and above a low 2. I played this game when I was younger and loved its twist on an RTS (a genre that doesn't deviate much) and it still holds up today. While it is true you don't directly control your units you can guide their actions through the use of reward flags. You can improve them by improving their base home structures and by upgrading various buildings such as your Marketplace, Blacksmith, and your Castle. You also have a wealth of spells and other tools at your disposal and the units are creative and fun. Each unit levels up as it goes about its tasks, which depending on the unit range from exploring, looting, supporting, or just plain fighting. The game itself has a lot of charm, unobtrusive music, pretty good sound effects and voice acting and offers a wide variety of challenges. The graphics while not exactly eye popping aren't anything to turn your nose at, especially given its release date. I'd recommend this game in a heart beat for anyone looking for a cool fun and creative twist on an RTS with medieval themes.

Classic. A Unique Spin on the RTS.

This game is part RTS, part fantasy simulation. You do not have direct control of your units; instead, you feel like a king, in that you decide where to build and who to bribe to get things done. Short learning curve, decent tutorial. If you like the fantasy genre and you like sims, you will probably love this. If you are into classic RTS, it might annoy you, but if you relish something different and can relax into it, you might just enjoy it to. I've spent a lot of hours on this one. Great game! :)

Controls of game is very minimal you can build buildings and bribe participants into doing your work. That's it building and bribing, no player control what so ever. Very Lame. Game it a 2 cause it did actually run, but other than that.
