I liked this game. There was a decent story line, lots of soldier / army types and a fun exploerable enviorment. However the freeplay is limited and besides the main plot there is very little to do. I also had a few missions glitch out where I could not complete them and couldn't figure out why.

I personally had trouble getting to unlocking the abilities of the rage demon monsters and then upgrading them. By the time I beat the game none of my rage monsters had their full ability and after picking my intial rage monsters I never had the option to change them out. Magic is fun but seemed weak and limited in effect but it maY HAVE DEPENDED UPON MY CHARECTER SELECTION. I choose paladin which was supposed to be half magic and half fighter but you don't personally fight in your battles (just get bonuses for fighting troops like leadership + attack/DEF etc...) So using magic is really your only personal offesnsive weapon for your player. I did not like that but I was ok with the strategy and pace of the turn based fighting.

Probably not for everyone but it was overall fun and doesn't take forever to beat the game. Worth a go through especially if you like strategy / turn based fighting.

This Might and Magic wanna be was designed ok; the World of Warcraft style leveling system allows much character customization... but this version does not let you get out of the tutorial because your are unable to pick up items.

I thought it was an enjoyable game. The hex system isn't really something I enjoy for the combat sequences. It is great for seeing your AOE (area of effect) limitations for spells though. Also after a while, I got tired of seeing my character always on a horse, even indoors.
