I am not a hardcore gamer but have tried many types of 1st, 3rd person shooters and I have to say that this game goes beyond your run of the mill typical similar games. Besides the outstanding graphics, there is a sense of actually being in there and going through the emotions that would be happening at any given moment of battle or in between battles scenes. Its the first time a game has really invoked a personal feeling of being part of a team and experiencing actual emotion for the scene your going through in the game. As far playing through the levels and mission on single player mode. The difficulty level is at a point where you can get through missions without having to play them over and over because the mission was just too hard to get through which is a plus for me. The only down side is the online multi player mode sucks. Its like playing Combat Arms. You stay alive for so long and die over and over unless you know what your doing to avoid being shot at. But overall, the game is worth way more than its being sold for. Homefront is by far the best game I have ever played.
