Fallout 3 for PC Reviews by Gamers

i got too excited to buy it and i bought it without reading the requirments and i have a windows 7.. i hope i can get a refund /:

Hi. I figured I'd try it on Windows 7 even though it says incompatable. It would play fine for a while then just freeze up. I searched around and found a fix that involves adjusting the fallout ini file so that it only uses 2 of my 4 cores on my quad processor and that has totally done the trick. If you have Windows 7 I wouldn't give up on this game without giving the fix a try. It's one of the best games ever and worth a little research. Just google something like - fallout 3 windows 7 quad core - or whatever appplies to you.
