Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes, the second standalone expansion for turn-based strategy Elemental, will launch for PC on May 22, developer Stardock has announced. As promised long ago, Legendary Heroes will be free for everyone who bought the original game before Halloween 2010, while owners of the previous expandalone Elemental: Fallen Enchantress can buy it for $20. The launch of the original Elemental: War of Magic was disastrous for developer Stardock, but a string of patches and the standalone expansion Elemental: Fallen Enchantress got the fantasy strategy series into pretty decent shape. Poor sales led to layoffs and the whole affair severely harmed Stardock's hard-earned reputation.
